On A Whim and Lucketts

Many of you know that The Painted Drawer opened a space in a store aptly named On A Whim in Lucketts, VA.  I spend every Thursday packing up my minivan to restock and refresh my items in The Painted Drawer's space.  Lucketts is known for all things shabby, distressed, vintage and beautiful.  On A Whim is pretty easy to pick out due to the bright pink,  polka dotted silo...

Here is what's inside the amazing store...just pretend you are on a shopping spree!

Celeste sells all the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint upstairs in the back of the store...

This week I brought out an amazing vintage chest of drawers that opens up into a desk.  I painted it in milkpaint so the wood grain slightly shows through.  What an interesting piece...

I hope you had fun perusing the store!  Isn't it totally overwhelming?  The Old Lucketts Store is on the main corner and has amazing items for sale as well.  It takes at least a full day in Lucketts to enjoy all the shops and soak it all in.  I hope you get a chance to do so one day!
