What a week! On top of preparing for Halloween and creating a koala costume for my eleven year old daughter, I have been preparing for the big Holiday Open House in Lucketts this weekend.
On A Whim looks amazing! What creativity - I am always so impressed.
I brought out a very shabby chic dresser in white which I heavily distressed. I love the look. This was one coat of chalk paint followed by another coat of watered down chalk paint. I then took the sandpaper and went to town. Afterwards, I didn't wax it. It was already super smooth and a wipe down with a damp cloth was all it needed.
Another sweet find I took out yesterday was this little guy in blue. The top drawer had a stenciled picture on it and after it was painted and sanded back, it reappeared. This is always fun to do with chalk paint. I love to actually stencil and then paint on top and sand back. The stencil then looks old and antiqued.
Can you believe this drum table? Love the shape, love the ridges, love the thickness and heaviness of it. The door swings open and inside is great storage. This one is in white with a little grey.
I can't believe that we are already decorating for the holiday season! I am still recovering from the pumpkin carving and trick or treating. No time to rest :)
Heading back to Lucketts tomorrow with some new finds. I hope you can make the trip sometime - you can see it is totally worth the effort!

(Had to share the koala costume!)
It all looks lovely Suzanne. Love the drum table. I hope someday to get there to Lucketts and visit all you talented ladies.
