I love how each vintage piece is a true one of a kind gem.  This one in particular.
The top has been refinished with a rich, dark stain.  The bottom is in the true Annie Sloan french blue, Provence and painted to show off all of its detail work.  I then dark waxed it for a super smooth finish.  Swoon!
"What a depressing garden" you are thinking right now.  Yes, it is.  Please, spring arrive so I can plant some flowers!
I worked on this today as I am - gasp - out of Old White to finish my dining room chairs!  Can you imagine - like a baker without flour :)  Celeste will come to my aid tomorrow and bring me more paint.
